'Eagle' and 'Skull' were created as suporting work leading up to the final piece ('Ram') of the project entitled 'Emerging'. I spent this project looking into how we all have different traits, and how our star signs seem to define them by when we were born. As I am an Aries, I focussed on the image of the ram (the signature motif for Aries), then I looked into the traits an Aries is supposedly meant to have. One of them being aggression and a hot temper - by placing the skull of a ram on the head of a man who is (through his body language) portraying aggression I have attempted to show the embodiment of my star sign...supposedly!
